Sailing, golfing or Asset Adequacy Analysis

Curiously, we sometimes get asked by practitioners “what will we do with the additional capacity created by outsourcing?”

Good question: have you got a yacht or a set of golf clubs?

Assuming that such hedonistic activities can’t keep you occupied the entire time you may want to consider providing your clients additional value enhancing services.

One particularly attractive service we have seen delivered in practices is Asset Adequacy Analysis . What’s that? Quite simply it measures the ability of a client’s asset base and structures to meet the client’s long term liabilities (especially when they stop working).

The client relationships resulting from Asset Adequacy Analysis are considerably stronger than those which traditionally develop from a simple “compliance based” relationship.

As one practice delivering Asset Adequacy Analysis commented to us:

New Company Secretarial service

With this service we host all the companies in your practice and provide full updates, annual review statements, processing of changes in shareholders, officers and similar activities for a low monthly fee. We cover all software, labour and associated costs, and provide all documents (consents to act, ASIC form 484, etc) as PDF files to your firm for you to send to your client. As with all MYOB Accountants Resourcing services, you maintain your client relationship and we just work in the background, liberating your staff for other activities.
